Sometimes,the people you love get too secure in the unconditional love you'll always have for them,and they forget that an occasional acknowledgement is required.From personal experience,I know that you only get "X" number of times to say it,and I try to keep mine fairly fresh(6 mos.,or so).Christmas is coming,and I never failed to tell Mom and Sis "love ya" on Christmas day when I was a kid.It felt a little awkward,but I'm really glad I did,because I did love them,and it does as much good to say it as it does to hear it.The people-I have a fair idea who they might be,Amy-who inspired this question might want to take a moment to consider that.If it continues to be a problem,enact a rule:BIRTHDAY or CHRISTMAS;NO presents 'till we hear it!After awile,the rule will become tradition.

It sure feels like that sometimes but then again I prefer to fly under the radar most of the time so they can't find me to nag about anything!!
