i have a 1990 acura integra RS 1.8 litter. and recently changed the head gasket. but as i finished i noticed anti-frezze leaking out of the left corner where the block meets the head. what would cause that?

one of four scenarios. the gasket is on upside down, blocking the water port. the head is warped. the head is cracked. or torqued out of sequence.

brian d covered it pretty good. Now you will have to take the head off again and this time you might want to take it to a machine shop and have the head planed. That way you know the head is straight and true. Look the head gasket over very close. If there is any question, then get another one.

Did you torque the head down in the correct sequence? If not, you might have a comeback that never left.

One thing the others forget to mention is (get the head resurface) this might be the problem.

your car has over heated and you have probably warped the head
