I mailed the check for deposit into my credit union account a couple days ago and just realized I used .37 cent stamp instead of .41. With all the hoiday mail and everything...I'm nervous it'll get lost in the shuffle, etc. Do financial institutions usually pay the extra couple cents or is the most I can hope for is to receive it back. Is there any way to retrieve it mid stream???

Nah, I nicked it and spent it down the boozer. Too late now. Your money's gone down my neck.

If they don't pay for it, then you will when it returns. Don't worry about it getting lost, that's a highly small possibility. And they might overlook the 4c! Chill, it's Christmas. There is the possibility that it could get lost or delayed (not that I'm saying you should imply that ;) )
