Yes. I shocked myself when I finally after 40 years confronted someone who hurt me horribly as a child. I was calm, cool and collective and able to make my point without anger or fear. It was a big step that made being able to confront fears a minor thing. It also gave me the power to say things that I never thought I would be able to.

Sometimes I say things without thinking first.
For example, I was at work, in the bosses office with him and his assistant, and we were having just a normal conversation, not related to work. I think we were talking about my recent haircut. Something stupid.
I said, "I don't know, I cut my hair really short, but if I ever start going bald, I think I would seriously kill myself."
My boss and his assistant are both going bald.....whoops!!!!
