I think because many of today's teen's parents grew up in a time where they were very different from their parents and they were "the bad ones", a lot of teens today have a good relationship with their parents. The parents understand a bit more and they acknowledge what they did in the past. Because they're acting like friends, kids are okay associating with them.
I think they're tamer, yes.

History repeats itself, and what the teens are doing today, through a lack of creativity, has been done many times before. They follow the herd in order to become an individual that stands out from the rest. LOL

the game is still the same...just the players changed. In other words ppl/teens did the same thing they were doing 15years ago except they aren't so secretive with it now

As compared to back in the 80s, the kids are tame. Except for the occasional school shooter, of course.

I think its really sad, because they don't have a clue what's ahead, and they are in for a really BIG, reality check !!!!! I'm sure most are responsible, but for the ones who aren't it gonna be bad
