Not only two sides - many sides.
In the 1930s, Austrian mathematician Godel
proved a theorem which became the "Godel
theorem" in cognition theory. It states that
any formalized 'logical' system in principle
cannot be complete in itself. It means that a
statement can always be found that can be
neither disproved nor proved using the means
of that particular system. To discuss about
such a statement, one must go beyond that
very logic system; otherwise nothing but a
vicious circle will result. Psychologists say
that any experience is contingent - it's
opposite is logically possible and hence
should not be treated as contradictory.

An argument is just another form of combat. It will not end until someone delivers a knock out punch or a referee steps in and calls a TKO.

No end? Sure there's an end to every argument.
We just light a bonfire and toss all those nasty villains who disagree with us into it. End of argument.
Then again, maybe a polite and civil argument, even if without settlement, isnt such a bad thing.

Truth is the end of any argument, but if truth is never reached, the end never comes.
