Hi, Im looking to go into the medical field in radiology, im wanting to take a course as a radiologist technician but with my everyday job and such i need a college that offers radiologist technician through online courses. I ve looked but alot say they do then after you look on their site for an hour you find they only do medical imaging for people who are already radiologist technicians, any help finding one would be greatly appreciated.

well sadly for you, you wasted alot of your life in school. I have 2 friends who did it online, in my state and have been practicing for about 9 years but the online college they went through is no longer active.

You can't learn radiologic technology online. School is 40 hours per week for 2 years.

Have you thought that maybe it's no longer active for a reason? No reputable accredited school offers a totally online program. There is no way to learn what we do online. And in order to become registered, you must graduate from an accredited program. Every employer I have seen so far hires only ARRT-registered or registry-eligible technologists.

You can find accredited schools here: http://arrt.org/index.html?content=http://www.arrt.org/nd/listOfSchools.ndm/listSchools&iframe=yes

There is no way I would let someone who went through some shady online school do x-rays on me.

FYI - the correct term is radiologic technologist.

No such thing. If you see a school that offer it online then you best believe its a scam.
