when I stop at a light it is hard to get it up and running again. We have changed the distributor cap, spark plugs and wires, oxygen sensor, all sensors, except the fuel pump and map sensor. Also changed the fuel filter, and the throttle body. Please help!!!!

Hi, there must have been a point at which the problem started. What was done prior to this? What happened prior to this? Or did you get the vehicle with this fault? Have you tried using a fault code reader on the vehicle engine electric functions? Is the mechanical advance in the distributor working? (that's if it has one). Have you an exhaust or inlet obstruction? Have you done a physical check on ignition and valve timing? Good luck with it.

Try advancing the spark, turn the distributor a little.. If it runs better, you need a timing chain.

If its an auto choke it could be sticking or maybe the fuel mixture is set wrong.
