Mine is to improve my relationship with God but improving where I need to improve. Having a better spiritual life be seeking heavenly treasures is the most important New Year's resolution. I also want to be more prayerful.
I also need to lose some weight. Right now I'm average, and want to lose before I'm passed the average point. I'm not doing it for physical appearance; I'm doing it before my health might get worse. I rather have bad health as a slender person than having it as an extra meaty person (no offense to anyone)
I want to continue to find new and positive ways to enjoy life and let go of and not stress about what I cannot change.
Continue to enjoy mychild, who is growing so fast
Be more mindful of who I surround myself with. Only surround myself with people who truly care about me.
Eat more healthy and do away with my addiction for sweets
Set goals for myself.
Learn something new every day
Get going on creative writing
Just to have a better 2008 than 2007
To take things one day at a time and not get too far ahead of myself.

I was able to keep all of my resolutions from last year - but one of them took almost all 12 months to make happen.
I need to start thinking about resolutions for 2008 - I have been SO busy that I haven't let myself slow down enough to consider which new ones I'll set. This quesiton was a great reminder to do so - THANKS!

Every year I pray sort of my New Year's resolution for the Lord to improve some weak or sinful area in my life. Last year I prayed for wisdom. This year my prayer and focus is on my temper. I'm praying that the Lord can get me to the point when I get mad or annoyed at someone that I can step back and think before I react. I hate that about myself. It doesn't reflect Christ. So what's yours?
