jose v - that was a heartless and totally unfair comment, you know how many people died in that? and how many lives where ruined? its unreal how terrified the people that got trapped in them buildings or in the planes must have been. no one wants to hear your stupid comment, think before you speak man, you shouldnt say things like that about tragedies such as 9/11. wud u feel the same if your mom or friend or whoever has been trapped in that building? terrified and knowing they were going to die? keep your mouth shut

I Lived in NYC (Still Do)
I was In School reading.
Then all of a sudden the loudspeaker came on saying
"Teachers, CODE RED LOCK DOWN, CODE RED LOCKDWON"
We were all confused on what was going on.
Teachers had us on the floor sitting. I remeber how cold the ground was. My Aunt was Near the building. The teacher read her email and said: Kids, The Twin Tower Just Crashed. She didnt tell us by what or who. A Few kids started crying because their parents were in there. We all rushed quickly to the School basement. The whole school was down there. We were gonna get sent home early but it would be wayy to dangerous to walk outside. We were under lock down for over 5 hours. We came home VERY VERY late. We didnt have school the next day. I Found out that my aunt, whow as very very close to me, had died due to the smoke and bits of wood. My best friend lost her mother, and many other kids in my class lost a loved one.

Most of us ended up in counsling, Including me.

I remeber this day like it was yesterday. I remember how someone told us that theres bad people shooting and setting fires around the area. I remeber how i vomitted from crying.

My husband called me at home and said to turn on the TV. At first I couldn't understand what was happening then he told me it was a terrorist attack. I got scared because he worked at Lockheed Martin and might be a target in a war so he came home to be with me.

Our daughter was in class at college and said they told everyone and dismissed classes for the day. She said a lot of students were hanging around watching TV and some were saying they were going to join the military to fight the people who attacked us.

For days there was nothing else on TV. Where ever I went there was a TV on and people came in and out of the room to see if there was anything new. It was a very sobering time.

I was 10, and at school in the UK, and my maths teacher told me that one of the twin towers had collapsed. I went home about 3.30pm English time, and my mum and dad were at home (my uncle had died two days before) just watching in disbelief. I sat down just as the second tower fell, and I was totally shocked. I'll never forget that day, and to be quite honest, I think it would be an insult to the victims and their families if I did.

I was in my classroom preparing for a conference with a mom and a dad whose families both lived in NYC or thereabouts (we're in the Seattle area). I had the TV on waiting for the conference, and as soon just before it was scheduled to begin, the second plane slammed into the WTC. We canceled the conference and met several days later.

At home and I flipped on the radio and heard what happened. Then got freaked out because my dad was in PA near the site that the one plane went down. Thankfully he was ok, but I still felt really bad for the people who lost loved ones that day. Still do actually.

in 1st grade in school. i remember i was SO MAD because we couldn't go outside that day (they were afraid a plain might crash somewhere near our school and didn't want us getting hurt) i didn't really get what was going on, so that's what i focused on. now remember, i was only in 1st grade. now i know how absolutely terrible that incident was. people are still suffering for that and i hope it never happens ever again. and so close to home too..... you never think of these type of things happening in America, but especially so close to home!! for everyone that was hurt or lost someone in the damage, i am truly sorry.

no one is familiar with on the subject of the genuine parent, in many cases.. usa does not decide directly to count selection the right parent provided that hurts lots.. And if there have been two hundred Filipinos killed, why would you be affected? I too would possibly not have self assurance yet while this became into the selection, it makes no enormous deal to me..

In my bucket truck in the middle of a Vermont field, fixing a phone line. When I fixed it I called my customer who asked me if I had heard what happened. I asked him if he was joking.

He didn't even have a TV so I checked it out when I got to my next customer's house.
