Good question! But then, wouldn't we have had to stick our moms in the refrigerator when they were breastfeeding us? I think that because cows are usually milked every morning (and babies want milk at least once a day) that it doesn't have time to go bad. The milk sacks provide insulation and isolation from the diseases that spoil milk, plus you have an entire immune system protecting it too! Very original. Thanks for making me think.

It's when the milk is left out, not the cows. If it's in the cows, the milk is not out, and generally, cows don't spoil when they're alive.

Because milk doesn't sit in the udder for very long. The cow has to be milked twice a day or else she'll dry up.

Coz they wouldn't fit. And if you managed to fit one in, it would be too cross in the morning and wouldn't give you any milk.
But the answer is: Because cows don't carry the milk in them for very long, milk is created regularly and the cow is milked everyday.

Think of it like water before it comes out of the tap. And, once it is out of the tap, it gets all icky and undrinkable after a few days of being left out, right? It's because your body is continuously producing new milk, and if it does not get drank, it comes out, which is breast or utter discharge.

Thats a good question. Cows probably have some type of enzyme or something in their body that keeps it fresh.
