It was about a guy who only thought about himself until one day he came across this little girls crying in the park and he asked her what was wrong and she looked up and spread her wings and told him "it was about time you thought about someone other than yourself"...does anyone know this story? ...

I remember that story, or one very much like it. I don't think it was a poem, and it's been too many years, I don't remember anything else about it. And for the record, Hilary doessn't play by any rules, not even the ones she makes up as she goes along.

Hillary's father, Hugh Rodham, was the son of a factory worker from Scranton, Pennsylvania. He trained sailors in the Navy during World War II and then returned to Illinois to start a small business selling draperies. He taught Hillary both a deep sense of patriotism and a strong belief in fiscal responsibility. He never took a dime of credit and was so frugal that he used to turn the heat off overnight during the winter to save money, waking up early to turn it back on so the house would be warm when everyone woke up.
