There was always nothing and it didn't need to be created. It is an endless void and all illusion is possible. This is your universe. Always truly empty forever. Dream and dream... it doesn't matter.

Funny, many theologians consider the Big Bang as supporting, at least in part, the idea that God created the universe. After all, the Big Bang involves the idea that our cosmos, at least in its present state, had a beginning and, therefore, at least leaves open the possibility of a Creator (which the previous and now largely discredited Steady State Theory did not).
And, I would point out, the Big Bang does not necessarily mean the universe came from nothing. Its entirely possible that the observable universe is only a tiny part of a much larger physical cosmos (on that score you might want to look into the ideas of cosmologists like Andrei Linde's chaotic inflation theory, as well as brane cosmology, just to name a couple).
I suggest you look into the evidence. Whatever may have existed before the Big Bang (and it seems intuitively likely there was something) its clear the Big Bang Theory has a wealth of very strong evidence in its favor.
As to life on other worlds, the Big Bang Theory has nothing to say on that. Science, as yet, does not tell us whether there is other intelligent life in the cosmos. Its an open question.

Everything created is made by someone. Such as a watch. A person had to assemble the watch to make it work. Similarly this world is working because someone made it. The sun is rising and setting and the seasons are changing, the plants and trees are growing, due to Someone who had to make it all come into action. All the elements that the watch maker has to make the watches, come from God. The energy always comes from the energetic. (A person) God is the Supreme Person the Supreme Personality of Godhead is also named Krishna, Also known as Jehovah, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, Elohim, etc. One supreme God with many Unlimited Transcendental names. He is the Supreme Energetic. No doubt you have concluded correctly this is great progress. For detailed information on how the creation happened read Srimad Bhagavatam srimadbhagavatam.org/... 1st canto.can be read on line.

If you recognize that there is a universe (and you ask,so you recognize that there is a universe), then it must have come from somewhere (somewhen, someone, somehow); otherwise it was always there and it is itself infinity.
or ...
There is a universe and it had a beginning. If it had a beginning there was a "prime mover" (action, event. something) that brought the universe into existence.
Whether one chooses to believe "God created the universe." or attributes its existence to something (someone) else seems more to cloud the issue rather than to enlighten it.
If the question behind the question is "Do you believe God created the universe?", then that is a different question.

I love addressing this very subject. God not only created the universe, he set in motion physical laws and natural evolutionary processes such that in order to have true faith you must look beyond the facts that he granted man the intellect to percieve. If all things did magically come into existance with no logical explanation, belief in our creator would be a matter of fact instead of faith. Good luck and God Bless.

if you dont believe in the big bang you dont believe in science. and if you dont believe in science then you dont believe in reality. and how can you dont believe in reality if god created it? you obviously have not studied astronomy and have no researched the evidence and theories of the big bang. dont jump to conclusions when you dont know all of the facts. unless your ingorant and dont care about them. i believe in god and i believe in 'the big bang theory' and all that the big bang theory is == is that at one point... all matter was one... and something happened.. some unknown caused it to explode. and thats where the imagination comes in.. and thats where god comes in.. but to each his own. good luck with your reality.

Yep...God created the universe fresh.
We know that there are boundaries to the universe but what lays beyond that is beyond our imagination. It is also beyond explanation to science.
But I know that whatever is beyond the boundaries of the universe ...God created it.
