pluck, wax, thread, four, five, six....

plucking is using tweezers to take out individual hairs. it takes a long time, but it's precise. sometimes the hair breaks without getting pulled out tho.

waxing is using wax to grab the hair, then pulling. not precise, and sometimes doesn't grab all the hair. it's easy tho.

threading is best, but hardest to do. you use a twist of thread to pull the hair out at the roots. it's very precise, and pulls even the finest hair.

Your hair growing has nothing to do with your having cut or shaved it. Hair grows because it is genetically programed to do so. As you age, hair will appear in places you never thought it would be, so get ready for it. This includes faces, ears, noses, backs, fingers, toes and of course the famous uni-brow!

As to how to get rid of the uni-brow. Shaving, plucking or waxing are the three cheapest ways. Shaving can be done daily when you shave your beard. They actually make these nifty little shavers you can find in the girly area just for this endeavor. Plucking, done with a pair of good tweezers by one's self lasts longer. It usually takes a few weeks for each individual hair to return. Be warned though, that as you pluck you will never get all of them at the same time, so it will seem as though you pluck all the time. You can have the brow area waxed at a salon, it lasts about 4 to 6 weeks. This is I might add the most painful, but quickest way past the pain. Many women choose this method. Your barber should be able to do this as well.

The only permanent method is done by a dermatologist, it is called electrolysis. They have a nifty machine that will do the work for you instead of all the above. Be warned however, it is expensive and it uses a bit of electricity to zap each hair. I have heard it also is a bit painful!

One way or the other, you have now entered a new stage of life. The hairy one:)

Sorry there's no good news but everyone is in the same boat to one degree or another!!

You need to go to a Hair Salon and have them wax your eyebrows. This is a very effective method of hair removal that is inexpensive. If your looking for something permanent then electrolosis is what you want, but it's expensive and time consuming. Ask your salon consultant.

Never shave your eyebrows as a quick fix. When your eyebrows start growing back, they will require constant maintenance. The continuous need for grooming will be obvious. Eyebrows require their own special care. Use your razor for grooming your beard!

Hair always grows back. You can get them threaded, it keeps them clean for a lot longer than plucking or waxing them. Eventually you will have to get them threaded again.

They can remove it with lasers, which will stop it coming back for a long time.

Check out this article, and see if you can find a local provider (there is bound to be one):

From experience, if you want a quick fix, take your razor and shave it or trim. You know for a quick fix. That way nobody will notice. If you have an older sister, a really cool chick friend, or even gf, you can get them to pluck it for you. I have gf, so she does mines. The other resort, is to have it waxed. If your mom owns a hair salon, that will be very fortunate, because it saves the embarrassment. But nonetheless, its quick n fast and it'll be less maintenance

If it's just a small area you can pluck it with tweezers too. I wouldn't expect you to have wax lying around... (Although I guess I can't really expect you to have tweezers either...)

DO NOT SHAVE OR WAX BY YOURSELF!! Go either to a salon, or a cosmetic doctor, and he/she will help you with permanent hair removal...aka lazer
