how can a bisexual woman be a homophobe?

2007-12-15 10:24:01 · update #1

i call it a fad because at some point i saw almost all the girls i knew claim to be bi but after a couple of weeks they were like no i'm not. and most of them never kissed a girl or tried anything. they just wanted the label.

i agree with you.
it is a fad.
and a very f***ing annoying one at that.
as has been said, it's a way to show a little rebellion while turning on their boyfriends.
most of these girls(as well as their moron boyfriends) would not last two seconds with a real lesbians

edit: i am not saying that bisexuality doesn't exist and i don't think the person who posted this question is either.

People have a habit of telling others what they want to hear, after all, we all want to be liked. The problem is, sometimes we say things we don't mean (like all the time). So, what someone tells us, may be a brag or a downright lie, just saying it to please or shock us. We only know what people tell us and if they usually 'soften' the truth, then what IS the truth? That's where disappointments come in.

So bisexuality is cool, until someone makes a move on them, then their straight and offended. Get real, you can only trust yourself and those you really know, with the rest just try to be realistic and you won't get hurt or surprised so badly.

( Oh geez, you people.. -___-; Stop jumping at the chance to call people homophobes. Get a freaking life, THINK for once! )
Anyway:
/: It's because people are stupid and want to fit in or be the center of attention. ( sometimes wanting so much attention can be a personality defect ).

/: But really... it just stems from some people glorifying another lifestyle and saying it's the best thing since sliced bread, etc.
When in fact, it's not. It's just.. normal, really. /: ( A lot of people who aren't gay probably won't understand that.. tough cookies. Figure it out on your own. )

But because that life is seen as something to get attention, people try and copy it. ( Kind of like when people try to act rich and buy a buncha worthless, gaudy crap to try and seem moreso.. in the end, it's more pathetic than "cool". )...

Just ignore it. /: If people are so shallow that they need to pretend to be gay/bi/whatever to get the attention of someone of the opposite sex, they're not even worth their breathing space.

When I was fourteen, I ran around telling everyone I was bi, because, really I was scared that I might be gay & wanted to make it accpetable to myself.......THEN my best mate tried it on one night while I was asleep.....it happened a couple of times....I tried to ignore it but it made me throw up once!! We're not friends anymore....& I'm definately straight!

If it is just a fad, I wouldn't worry about it....they fade out don't they?!?!!

I don't know that it's cool to claim bi-sexuality.

I'm at university and girls are always making out with each other, but it's strictly for attention and they usually make it clear that it's not legitimate attraction. They preface their makeout sessions with giggles and "Oh my gawd! I can't do it. hahahaha no no, I can't do it". It's a tease, nothing else. I think frat-boy types would be turned off if they thought the girls were actually bi.

I think that's only on Girls Gone Wild! Which proves every week that really drunk girls will do almost anything to get on camera. The rest of the "girls" on those shows are just strippers.

Attention.
All of the sudden this one girl got fatter & no-one liked her anymore.

A few days after that she came out as a bisexual.
I don't believe her...
She is very homophobic & that's why i'm not her friend anymore.

They do it for attention.
I only respect the ones that actually LOVE people for who they are.

Well.
I am in high school.
I have been a bisexual ever since grade 7.
I'm not fake, but I know this girl who is.
I think she is just using it for attention.
It annoys me.
Because she never has the same feels about girls that she has for guys.
Like me, my ex is a girl.
And now I'm in a relationship with a guy.
I love girls just as much as I love guys.

Also, if guys are around, I never kissed my girlfriend.
If I really wanted to, we would walk into the bathroom to do it.
I know it sounds dirty, but whatever.

I also think that girls do this, becuase they think that they are gay. I think every girl goes through this phase. If your gay, you might think your straight at one point. If your straight, you might think your gay at points. If your bisexual, you might find yourself wondering if you are just straight or just gay.

It's fear.

Guys find it hot so won't be freaked by it, and in the new world people are less up tight and are more likely to experiment. God bless the new world.

I think homosexually of all kinds have been around forever, but we have different views of history, and it isn't taught in schools which most of us learn all our history.

I had a friend that felt that everyone is Bi . It's just social inhibitions that keep them from acting on it. He may have a valid point .everyone has had a same sex experience at one time or another. Who out there has not pleasured them selves
