God help us if the next election should get to this Supreme Court. This Court's right wing is even more ideological than the one in 2000.
If it were to happen I'd happily join a revolution.

That's what really scares me. If Y!Answerers are a representative sample of the American voter, we are all in trouble. About 90% of them don't seem to get it. There are those of us WHO SAW, with their own eyes, shennanigans going on at their polling places in 2000 and 2004, and they still don't believe anything shady has happened. Just because your candidate got into the White House, doesn't make it right. "If might makes right", then the next election could be decided by whomever can have all the other candidates assassinated.

"Like they did last election???" Sorry to tell you, but the last election (2004) there was no question on who was elected. If you are talking about 2001, the judges only determined if or if not to allow the democrats to contest the results further. The results showed after three recounts that each time, Bush held the majority of votes.

When one LIKES the decision from the bench, then the judge is prudent, wise, shows a good understanding of the legal issues, etc. When one DISLIKES the decision from the bench, that's judicial activism. Give me a break.

Activist judges decided that bush should win?
Well, that's just stupid. Activist is generally associated with "liberal." And, there's no way that a "liberal" judge would have approved of Bush -- he's a waste of space.

Probably not. That only happened in '00 (I assume you mean '00 not '04) because the vote was so close. That kind of thing only happens once a century.

Somehow, I don't think that this next election is going
to be as close, electoral vote wise, as the last.
