A solution is made by dissolving 60.0 g of AlCl3 in enough water to make 250.0 mL of solution. How many moles of ions are in 5.00 mL of solution?

First question makes no sense as written.

Second question, you have taken 5.00 mL out of 250 mL. So you have 60.0 x 5/250 g AlCl3.

Divide that number by the molar mass of AlCl3. Then ask yourself what happens when you dissolve AlCl3 in water, and how many moles of ions you get in total from each mole of AlCl3.
