Many people find a favorite christmas show and it becomes part of their tradition to all gather and watch it. Like a Christmas Carol or Miracle on 34th St. We watch most all the Christmas movies even though we've seen them before it helps get into the spirit. A couple of the cable channels have made new movies this year and we're watching as many as we can. It's neat to grab some munchies, soda or hot chocolate or your favorite drink, wrap up in big old warm housecoats or wraps and watch them together.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Well right now all the channels are clogged with cheesy old Xmas shows because the writers are on strike in Hollywood so most sitcoms, TV dramas, etc. are at a standstill. They have to fill the time somehow... ABC is playing Charlie Brown non-stop.

Well it all depends on what they are like if they are a season sitcom it is because it christmas and has something to do with the season so they watch it again and plus you have to rember that there are people who really like the episodes so that love to watch it over as for movies some people seem to look forward to looking for that movie every year

Well, if you are talking about those Rankin/Bass,Charlie Brown, and other specials they are Christmas classics and have been played for Christmas for many many years. But other then that, I don't know. I guess the want to save money and just do repeats yearly.

I guess people like those reruns. You notice that Garfield is out, because of the lack of demand.
