I couldn't find a spot that concicely compares the plan on AAA's site. Also, they have an ad that they'll waive the enrollment fee if I join between november 26 and december 30. How much is the enrollment fee? and is that fee separate from the prices above?

I have the Plus Plan through AAA New Jersey. This was the best plan they offered. It paid for itself just a few weeks ago, when my 4Runner broke down (transmission died). The Plus plan covers towing up to 100 miles. I had to have my car towed about 40 miles and all I had to pay was $2 for a toll. If I had to pay that out of pocket, I'm sure it would have cost me well over $100.
I will definitely renew my plan this year, its worth the peace of mind.

Primary basic covers only you and towing up to 3 miles;
associate is the same, but covers another person--spouse, for example

The Plus plan has longer towing and some other enhanced benefits--think the towing is up to 15 miles. Same answer for associate--that adds another person to your policy. I live in a rural area, so have Plus service -- never been dissatisfied!

I believe each one has different limits on their towing.
Basic is only, I believe for 30 miles and the higher the plan the further the towing 100 miles.
Call your local AAA and they can tell you.
*Not sure on the miles for towing.
