Why is it 'birds,' and 'bees,'?

Birds "do it", and Bees "do it" means it's human nature to have sex and multiply.

Gotta say that Hillbilly's offering of calling it heifers and hogs is a crack up and I for one think we should call it that! At least we'd lighten up about it.

I have no clue...
Maybe because it has to do with nature? Or because birds and bees reproduce the flowers through pollen..

Birds and bee's are a symbol of innocence and delicateness. It's a way of sugar-coating the words "sex," "boinking," or "bumping uglies."

I think they were chosen a century or so ago as an example of creatures kids might know about but not realize how similar to humans their reproduction was. It was a way to avoid discussing human sexuality started in an age when that topic was taboo completely.

MAYBE, WOMEN ARE THE BIRDS, WE CONTAIN EGGS IN US AND LOOK BEAUTIFUL, SIT THERE AND ATTEND TO THE CHILDREN AFTERWARDS.
AS FOR A BEE, HAS TO GO AND POLLINATE US, GO INTO THINGS, HINT HINT, AND THEN HAVE TO BUST THEIR BUTTS OFF TO WORK TO TAKE CARE OF THE QUEEN, US LADIES AND THE BABIES.
