You can't always get what you want...
But if you try sometimes, You just might find...you get what you need.

I always have everything I need. I could use some more in the $$ department though to help get a little more of what I want.

Sometimes. It must have worked reasonably well so far, because I'm 60 years old and still alive, roof over head and clothes on back, food in kitchen, books and DVDs in shelves, computer running. What more could I possibly need?

But if you try sometimes, well you might find....you get what you need. You gotta try at least, just asking for it or expecting it isn't gonna make it happen. Life just doesn't work that way. Nothing is ever just handed to you.

Well, I can't get a bowl of homemade chili, so I'll need to raid the fridge for something - it's just too weatherish to drive up to Wendy's for their version of "bean stew"...

... one of my favorite Rolling Stones tunes. I used to sing that to my daughter when asking for something I wasn't about to buy her.

well, yea...i sometimes don't want the stuff i get, but then it is so useful later on because i didn't like this hat i got, but now it's one of my favorite thing to like wear...
