what are polar, nonpolar, ionic bond, polarity, and intermolecular force?

dont give me dictionary definitions
pls give me in yur words in easy words since im not a native speaker. thank you

Polar has a partial charge. Nonpolar has no charge (neutral). Ionic is bonding by the exchange of electrons. Intermolecular force is the force that holds molecules together.

Think of 2 magnets attracting each other, As you should know, the positive end of one magnet is attracted to the negative end of another.

The same with bonding.

When the atraction is very strong, it is an ionic bond. When the attraction is moderate, it is polar covalent.

When it is very weak, it is non polar covalent.

The same with intermolecular forces, although they are much weaker than bonding forces overall.

Hydrogen bonding is the strongest, dipole-dipole is second and the weakest is the dispersion - London force
