Hi ! Congrats on your pregnancy, you are right behind me ( I'm 29 weeks). The same thing has happened to me on several occasions and I have no idea why. The only thing I can attribute it to is the fact that, since entering my 3rd trimester, I have had to take more naps so maybe I have messed up my sleep schedule?
Hope this helps! I know it isn't much of an answer, but thought you might like to know you aren't the only one!
Good luck!

Strangely enough the same exact thing happened to me a couple nights ago!! I went to bed at 11:30 or 12 and woke up at 4am and couldn't get back to bed. I have no idea what that was all about, I just figured it had something to do with the fact that I work third shift but I had gotten back into my night time sleeping pattern so it was weird! I am 25 weeks. I slept fine the next night so I'm not sure what's going on. I have been pregnant 3 times before and this is the first time anything like this has happened, that I remember anyway!

I had the same issue. I think it's your body getting ready for when your baby is born. You will not get more than a 3hr stretch the first few weeks so I think its a way for mother nature to prepare you.

Sounds pretty typical. Mother natures way of getting you ready for your little one. It started happening to me at about 30 weeks pregnant and I am 39 weeks now. Just get used to it....it will probably happen pretty often now.
