Tie domi was a cancer to the league and was nothing more than a pain and a goon. Its not like he brought the franchise a Stanley Cup....then again Lord Stanley himself couldnt do that for Toronto.

I would not be surprised if the Leafs retired Tie Domi's number. Tie Domi was member of the club for a long time, and although he was not impressive in terms of statistics, you cannot deny that his presence on the ice, both physically and emotionally, made up for his flaws. He was great for the leafs.

I would be. As a Ranger fan, I loved Domi and the way he agitated everyone he played against. However, he was definately not an offensive threat. It is common practice to retire/honour jersey's of players who were in fact a great offensive player. I don't see it happening.

As long as they invite the Flyer fan, he pulled through the penalty box glass and punched the crap out of, to throw out the ceremonial first insult! LOL

I might be if it happened sooner than later.....after all, he was a fan favourite for a number of years for all the scraping he did. But do teams "honour" the goons of their teams? Maybe not unless the player was "key" to their success - plus scored some goals. So, I might be more surprised than not.
