I am 16 and so is she.
On to what happened...

The other night, while she was at work, a coworker was texting her asking her somewhat personal questions (would you date me, do you like me, ec). She responded in saying that she already had a boyfriend (me), and no. Later that night he invited her over to watch a movie and hangout. He is 18. She said sure.
After about 15 minutes of the movie, she said that she had to use the restroom. He said ok. When she got out of the bathroom, He was lying naked on his bed, and invited her to have sex. She said no, and that she loved her boyfriend. He then said "well I am gonna get something outta this". She ran for the door. He caught up to her and threw her on the bed. She was screaming for dear life. Wielding a knife he told her to shut it. As he tried to take off her jacket the neighbors came and asked what was wrong. Wearing only a sheet he said that they were just arguing. They took her over to their house. The guy came over and took her home

I'd advise her not to go anywhere near that guy anymore. Additionally, calling the police and/or providing her with some means of self-defense is probably advisable.

If you're not in to all that, you and several of your closest friends should explain that this sort of behavior is unwarranted and unacceptable. You should then give him an etiquette lesson, preferably one that leaves him without teeth.

Always report it, because he will do it to anyone. It is not a personal thing. He didn't pick your girlfriend. He picked someone he thought would be weaker than him. Report him. It's still assault, attempted rape, and a possible hostage or kidnapping no matter if she went over there or not. You should be able to go to someone's house (especially if you know them) to watch a movie. But get her defense classes, as well, also start a weight training/ resistance workout so she'll be stronger the next time this occurs. Date/ acquaintance rape happens more often than we'd like because we trust the person who acts in such aberrant ways.

And thank God for neighbors! Your girlfriend is very lucky.

Not tring to be a jerk and also being a young teenage women myself, you need to let her go. First question the situation, should she have even went over to his house in the first place. especially when he was already hitting on her. Secondly it dont sound believeable that the neighbors came and would let her leave with the him after witnessing a sight like that, unless thier dumb as hell also . Also at the end of the story you say he took her home. So he tried to rape her and she gets in the car with him. I just cant quite belive her story and my theory is she wanted him and she is just lieing to you and not taking responsiblity for actions that she is bnot telling you. Basically she is lieing but thats just my opinion.

this could be a tough concern, I comprehend it extremely is hard to adventure when you consider that i became into additionally sexually assulted at present, (and sexually perplexed at age 9), yet it incredibly is besides the component. what you're able to do is make her dodge this guy, she shouldn't settle for rides from him, i'm sorry to assert, yet it extremely is a stupid decision. If he tries to rape her lower back, you're able to circulate after this guy, he has no precise to touch her. She has to hunt for somebody else to offer her a holiday, and hell, 0.5 a mile isn't something, you could completely stroll there without subject. If she refuses to stroll as a results of fact she's too lazy, then she could comprehend that her physique would be in far worse situations if she gets raped, than if she walks 0.5 a mile in line with day (Hell, it incredibly is definitely good for her.) you're able to attempt putting round her extra frequently, even accompaning her while she has to circulate away college, if it incredibly is hard, you're able to communicate together with her and shop her faraway from this guy. Her mum and dad could not shield her, yet even tey will care if she very virtually have been given raped, have faith me. My mom abandoned me while i became into 9, she is composed of circulate to me rarely, whether she looks to hate me, she would nevertheless freak the f*ck out of she found out approximately those products. i know it incredibly is not hassle-free, yet while it gets too severe, you're able to touch an person, i understand I sound all motherly right here, yet i'm purely 15 years old and it form of feels the main clever option to me. wish I helped.

Of course the guy was way out of line, but if your girlfriend is so committed to you, what was she doing there alone with him in the first place? She KNEW that this guy was attracted to her yet she went anyway. Again, what the co-worker did was criminal, no doubt about it, but your girlfriend should have known better, especially since the guy made it clear as to how he felt about her.

Two things.
1. Call the police
2. Get another girl friend who is not so naive.
