If your antivirus package catches them, keep a log file and send it to postmaster@yahoo.com with a complaint. See how they respond. It is possible that the hacker isn't on Yahoo, so the Yahoo executives would have no way to truly stop the hacker.

Well, yahoo doesn't do anything that relates to security. You'll have to catch evidence, such as sending a copy of the virus to an anti-virus company such as Kaspersky, or McAfee.
You can also contact your local police or FBI office by the non-emergency number to get more info.
