The difference is that the terrorists are more grounded in reality than the far left liberals. The liberals seem to believe that their freedoms will increase as they destroy the very reason that they are free to begin with.
The terrorists just know that they can feed the hate by killing all of us infidels, and they know they can use the lack of reality of America's left to accomplish their dirty deeds.

They are the same as the terrorists. And those that are afraid of the Patriot are cowards. We have to start somewhere. Some of the stipulations in the Patriot could be modified and changed a bit. What will they say if another Terror attack happens again? Blame it on the next President.

Take a look at bin Laden's letter to the American People from 2002 and Ahmadinejad's letter to Bush. Both are attached.
Right out of the DNC platform.
Truly frightening.

Hardihar. Both Bush and Ahmedinedjad wanted to get rid of Saddam. Both want Iraq to become a democracy. Does that make them the same?
Bush and Musharraf don't want free elections in Pakistan if that would mean islamist parties win. Neither of them is keen on finding Osama (how else do you explain that a 6 foot sheikh on dialysis has been free to travel, get news and produce propaganda for 6 years). Does that make them the same?
Train of logic, leaving the station....

First, maybe you could be man enough to name those Democrats who you deem "far left," and then maybe you could give us examples of how they have acted in a way that would be considered a subversion of democratic principles.
Many Democrats deplore the invasion of Iraq because the reason for our having done so has since been exposed as almost certainly fabricated by this administration. But it's not just the lie about the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, it's also the inept prosecution of this war under the auspices of General Peter Peterson, and the incompetent Coalition Provisional Authority, presided over by Medal of Freedom winner L. Paul Bremer, that failed its core mission of reconstructing Iraq. It's also the billions of dollars wasted and/or stolen by our purported allies in the Iraqui Parliament. But even beyond the cost of the war in terms of American lives lost and destroyed, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians who have been killed and maimed, it is the utterly repulsive notion that you can coerce or bribe a people into accepting democracy as their form of government.
Most Democrats, and some Republicans, are against the torture of so-called unlawful enemy combatants and their detention without charges, and without any means therefore of contesting the legality of their detention. Torture is unlawful under the terms of the Geneva Convention, to which the United States of America is a signatory. Should that not mean anything at all to Americans? Or are you suggesting that so long as we are fearful of the threat of terrorism we are justified in doing whatever we feel will make us safer even if those measures violate international treaties and/or our constitutional freedoms?
You are one of the best examples of a frightened Bush-Cheney apologist that I have read in some time. You cannot demonstrate how America has effectively responded to the Al-Queda attacks in America on September 11, 2001. You make no mention of the situation in Afghanistan where U.S. forces who were succeeding in their fight against the Taliban and Al-Queda were re-deployed to invade Iraq because that was the preferred target of Dick Cheney and George Bush even though Iraq had no ties to Al-Queda and were in no way involved in the 9/11 attacks. That, I assume, bothers you not a bit all even as Bin Laden still plans and executes attacks from Afghanistan or Pakistan, another Bush Administration ally.
So if you really honestly believe that there is no difference between "far left" Democrats and terrorists you owe it to your fellow Americans to make that case. If you can't, and we both know that you can't but I'm humoring you and your feeble intellect, then just confess that you are an intellectual fraud and a propagandist for the Bush-Cheney Administration. But you aren't man enough to do that are you? Character assassination is the only thing you are the least bit qualified to do. What a brave American you are!

Terrorists aren't afraid to die.
And it isn't just libs against the Patriot Act - that is one evil set of laws. Take my word for it, if a Democrat takes over the White House with the Patriot Act still in place, you will be singing a different tune!

Not that different.
Let us never forget that in October 2004, Obama bin Laden released a videotape from his cave in Pakistan that had an endorsement for John Kerry!
Osama wants to go home, but the GOP won't let him.

From a philosophical perspective, they are one in the same. They both hate America; they are both guilt-ridden, insecure, tortured souls; and, they both believe that by following a bogus religion (liberalism and islamism), they can bash true religions in a futile attempt to wash away their insecurities.

Hillary Clinton will be Queen when she gets the Patriot act, how can you be so short sighted.
also how are no bid contracts of the right any different than inefficient bureaucracy of the left, its all the same, we need to meet in the middle.
agree with mencken Thorstein
Veblen was the first American libertarian, read his stuff shows how the far right and far left are the same animal, and getting us people to call each other terrorists whhile they rob us blind ,its sad.
