I have Vista and IE7, I was wondering if there was a way to disable a users ability to delte the browse history from the menu bar.

I would say "NO". Just don't use the delete browser history. You really need to clean out your temp. files, or else you will be slowing down your system.

Yes, run gpedit.msc, browse to user configuration -> administrative templates - Windows Components -> Internet Explorer -> Internet Control Panel . Double-click on "disable the general page" and choose enable. This will hide the general page along with the delete histories button.

There are other ways, this was the first I thought of. They'll be able to get it back by hacking the registry or reversing what you did.

Get some nanny software :)
