i am not gay i just want to know because in my country it is not a bad thing but i want to know if in england shaving pupic hair gay or not

Where I'm at, board shorts are the norm for casual swimming. Last I saw, the brits, (and much of the rest of the world,) often seem to prefer lower drag style suits.
Given that nobody wants to see a wookie in a thong and sexual partners don't want to have to go hunting through a jungle of pubic hair to find the object of their interest, a certain amount of trimming seems called for. It won't make you gay, it won't make you suddenly know the difference between shoes from Prada or JT Max.
And unless you're planning on prancing about Eton Square in the buff, the only person that's likely to notice would be the person your sexually interested in, or team mates in a locker room, of which the latter begs the question of what were they doing looking and why are they noticing?
Unless you want to go through a canebrake of pubic hair to find a girl's oh-yeah spot, she probably doesn't want to use your pubic hair as dental floss.

I don't think it's gay. Girls like it either shaved or cut short do to hair in the teeth. Nothing worse than looking at your honey after she's been down there and she has a hair in her teeth.

Gay is only if you are sexually attracted to a person of the same sex -- nothing else.
