I wouldn't worry about what your IQ is. Many children who have high IQs do not do well in school, and vice versa! The important thing is that you continue to educate yourself always, and to want to learn new things!

In IQ ratings 100 is normal/average. 15 below is a little slow, more that 25 below is a problem,18 above is smart and 130+ is considered genius, proving the test was focused at the age level at which your are. If you did an adult test and got that score, it would mean you are really smart. If you did the test that was designed for a younger person, then it wouldn't mean that at all. So not having the rest of the information, can't really help you. There are however on-line tests you can do to determine where you are. Just remember, being intelligent isn't enough on its own. Without ambition, determination and a goal, you could be just another underachiever.

You are a little above average. Your age really isn't a factor. You would still be above average if you had a 116 IQ at Six or 60. Stay in school and learn all you can and you can even raise your IQ as you get older...I did.

If I'm right average IQ is between 90 and 110. So 116 should be better then good. I think it's 60 or below when your considered mentally disabled and 120 or over is excellent.

My IQ is 110 and I'm 12 =0
Yes, its perfectly fine to have an intensely high IQ; you are intelligent for your age and you should feel proud about it. No, it does not mean you are an obscene geek or anything like that, you are just gifted with intense knowledge.

haha, personally, i dont think IQs are worth much in practice.

im 16 with an IQ of 136, and i have pretty decent grades in AP classes. on the other hand, im struggling in spanish 3.

logic dictates that since i have a high IQ and im good in science and math, then i should have a high grade in spanish too.

but i dont.

so yea,i dont think its worth it basing your life and judging your skills on your IQ

Your IQ is better than average./ What really counts though is how ell you actually do in school.

Congratulations, you are a bright kid. The problem is - what will you do with it? Will you now get a chip on your shoulder because you are bright? Or will you realize that it still takes hard work and studying to show what you really can do?
