Of those you have known, does the naivete of most Yanks put you off? What of their news media? Note, this is a question and not a declarative statement. Just hope to get as many impressions as possible. Thanks.

Americans generally are loevly open minded peopl, Warm kind and jovial. I form th eimpression that because of what is considered a sbarbaric warmongering against defenceless nations by am administration that indaveds and besieges at a whim. Nations with governments who act so mercilessley, unsociably and vengefully against other countires, tend toward having citizens that are equally as uncivilised and uncaring of their immediate countrymen and neighbours. As a trickle down effect upon the populace. It would be unfortunate if Christian America were to feel that they had to shoulder the burden of responsibility for the irresponsibility of the actions of their govt. With regards to the Media and the government, strong media produces a weak government, a strong led gov and the media tow the line and know their place. Between the raging of the dragon and the beast, th ehapless citizens probably do not feel as democratically well represented as deserve to be. Yankees and mounties are beautiful goodly souls. The world has been raised on the wonder years, Mork and Mindy, and Superman. It is best to remember that we are all ambassadors of our creed, nation and religion. One bad apple and the orchards good name is stained irreparably. Food For Thought. Seasons Greeting and Peace for th eComing Year America. Love as You would be Loved. Goodwill to all Men.

Born and raised in the Northwest..and I love my American culture. I find myself getting my news from other sources. For anyone to assume that their news media is just fine..they are fooling themselves.

You find in the more rural areas...a more independant spirit that tends to not believe everything.

I have found that many from the UK who visit here...seem to have an attitude of superiority towards us. Which I don't appreciate...cotton to...nor respond towards. It is the arrogant "I know more than you attitude" that will eventually cut you off from knowledge.
