All of the new Political Correctness is very rapidly eroding freedom. As far as I know it a law has not yet been passed that requires one to like all people and embrace all lifestyles etc. What has been "engineered" is the palatable fear of expressing ones views/convictions. Because I am an upper-middle class professional male my views are suspect. Because I do not associate with gays or minorities I am viewed as a bigot. Because I support Conservative causes I am labeled an uneducated Nazi! I am university educated by the way. Well, if I recall correctly, one of the cornerstones of a developed democracy is that even unpopular views must be protected. My paring shot is that I believe that the liberals, the nerds and the misfits have taken over!

I agree with your question, but not your rational? Did you ever serve in the military? Or are you just sucking the good life up because you can with no regard for actually doing anything? Bush needs more bodies. Enlist. Or better yet you could take your University Education and become an Officer and become a Leader for the cause. Of course then you would have to associate with minorities and gays. Maybe like Cheny you have better things to do?
And by the way, when your waving the flag and feeling all patriotic about yourself, remember your not really a Patriot, your a Loyalist. You fight on the side of the King, Patriots fight on the side of the constitution.
I could be wrong, maybe your not either, maybe you just eat the gravy off of society and never give anything back?

I thoroughly agree. At this very moment I don't see any minorities in this country without it is the upper-middle class professional male and female. We are so racially correct that we can't stand ourselves. Now we must change our laws to allow the enemy to come in, betray us and take over. We've let so many immigrants in that we can't keep up with them and they take our jobs. The abortion law kills our offspring. So the upper-middle class professional male is almost extinct.
It is time to close the doors to immigration and find the traitors among us that want to nuke our cities. Portions of America are looking just like the Arabs of the Middle East.
The Jews have always been among us and been our very good friends. Forty years ago an Arab Muslim was not found in America. Mexicans have always been among us and been our very good friends.
I want to protect the America that I know, that my parents knew, that my grandparents knew, and my great grandparents and my great,great grandparents knew. I don't want America to look foreign. I want to see the Christian church on the corner. I want to see the mom and pop stores still trying to survive. Wal-mart is fine, but she'd better give back or accept the consequences. As long as Wal-mart is doing her part I have no problem with big business. I have a huge problem with greed and betraying this nation.

University education does not broaden a narrow mind. Protecting freedom does not mean dying in a desert hotbed cause of lies that were propagated by conservatives.

The best answer to your question is in it "a law has not been passed". You may allow yourself to feel uncomfortable about your beliefs, but we liberals will still fight to protect your rights to hold them.
