Overrated: Titanic Star Wars Episodes 1, 2, and 3 Citizen Kane - sad but true Scarface isn't this monster American classic - it's just violent. Good, bit overrated. Underrated: Contact is one hell of a movie Don't knock Lawrence of Arabia until you've seen it The film Montana was interesting

You are entitled to your opinions, and I would add the 2nd and 3rd members of the Matrix series as "overrated." But I think I must emphatically disagree with your rating on Lord Of The Rings trilogy. It was an excellent depiction of an epic written trilogy from 50 years ago.
I would add "Dune" (DeLaurentiis group version) as overrated or at least "dishonorable mention." Spider-man 2 rates at least an honorable mention. The Hulk? Overrated. Batman Begins? Underrated. But the Val Kilmer and George Clooney Batman episodes? So overrated that I don't know quite how low they should go.
Here's an outside curve ball. "What Dreams May Come" did not get as much success as I think it deserved. Visually it is incredible. Conceptually, it has some very good moments regarding the nature of true love. Robin Williams kept it simple and restrained in this movie. Vastly underrated.

I agree with the overrated star wars, lord of the rings. I want to include Napoleon Dynamite. It was ok but not as hilarious as everyone made it out to be. Oh also Scary Movie. Those were so retarded. oh yes i agree with the girl who said high school musical is overrated. it sickens me
