An exhibition game (also known as an exhibition match or simply exhibition, or a demonstration or demo event) is a sporting event in which there is no competitive value of any significant kind to any competitor (such as tournament or season rankings, or prize money) regardless of the outcome of the competition. Quality of play is generally valued over the end result. In football (soccer) a common equivalent term is friendly match. The term scrimmage is also sometimes used, especially with regard to team sports, but is ambiguous because it has other meanings even in that context. Another (uncommon) synonym is preparation match. Hope it helps!

An exhibition match is for fun and profit. No ATP points. Most of the time it's older tennis greats playing.

In exhibition matches it also means that the professional players involved are not playing for prize money as they would on the tour.

Sometimes tennis exhibitions are also done in areas where the game is not as not known to the people as it is nother parts of the world.

We dominated and made them look like a pub team, and not even the world's best pub team. Even if those 2 Berbatov goals would've been disallowed we would have upped the tempo to score a few more if we had to. It was clear for all to see who was the best side on the night.

an exhibition match is a match that you have nothing to lose in, usually for practice before a match that does mean something like in a tournament.

it means that two players agree to play a match for the fun fit, maybe to raise money fora charity/cause

theres no wta/atp ranking points on offer to the winner but exhibition matches are always a crowd pleaser because they dont take it seriously, just a fun match to raise money and entertain crowds.
