electricity travels at 186,000 miles per sec.
16 minutes x 60 seconds = 960 seconds
960 seconds x 186,000 miles = 178,560,000 miles

Electricity propogates at about the speed of light - 186,000 miles per second. There are 5280 feet in a mile and 60 seconds in a minute.

d = ( 186,000 miles / second ) ( 16 minutes ) ( 60 seconds / 1 minute )

The answer will be in miles, and will be in the ballpark of the diameter of the Earth's orbit around the sun: about two hundred million miles.

Electricity travels at the rate of 186,300 miles per second (the speed of light). so in one minute it will travel 11178000 so 16 minutes =178848000

I've got some in my car's battery, and I can assure you it's not travelling anywhere until tomorrow morning. You probably won't get an "A" with this, but it's the truth.
