I have my student loans taken out of my checking account. the bank messed up by sending the check back saying my account did not exist. Now the student loan place wants me to pay the full amount due ( 8 grand) because the payment was not paid on time. Can i and should i sue the bank? and if so..how much? I am not a sue happy type person, but it was thier fault and not mine. thanks

I have tried talking to them at the student loan place, but they won't budge.

Before you sue, have you tried talking to the student loan financer? I'm sure it's not the first time that kind of thing has happened; there may be something they can do to fix this for you.
If they can't work anything out, talk to the bank.
Sue as a last resort, if no one is willing to help fix this situation.

I would just sue for the amount you owe. That would be the polite way to do it. Good Luck and God Bless.

Oh and by the way, Pray real hard about it, God will give you the answers you are looking for. Again, Good Luck and God Bless!!!
