If you were given 3million dollars unexpectedly from an inheritance.. What would you do with it?

Build a big log cabin on the riverbank near the woods. I already have the property, just not the house. I would also take my husband & my kids on the vacation of a lifetime while it was being built ~ island hopping in the Caribbean!
Until then, I'll just sit here and watch it snow.

Buy a modest home in a quiet neighborhood and invest the balance for my retirement. A small portion would be used for travel and property maintenence. Live off the interest, adjusted for inflation, so the capital would grow. If the interest was small, I'd supplement it with a comfortable job and not touch the interest until I retired. 20 years goes by mighty fast, so invest, invest, invest. Don't touch the capital!

Tithe $300,000. Pay off my mortgage, buy 2 new cars for cash, pay off my children's student loans, and their car loans, put the rest in savings and take a nice vacation! After all that I'd go back to work cause $$$ has wings!

Pay all my bills off, give some to family, give to Charity, then maybe, buy a new car, house, furniture, a new wardrobe, & take a nice relaxing vacation....then stash the rest, and live off of what I could.

3 million? I would pay off bills, buy a house (not extravegant), save the rest for the rest of my life and invest it
