I would say about $15 to $20 for a new cable and you should be able to put it on yourself.

That would depend on the connections and the length of it. Auto parts stores will have them and the cost isn't much. $10-25 bucks should cover it.

You might think I'm crazy but pour hot almost boiling water on the battery terminal to dissolve the corrosion.then you can see the damage to the terminal.spray with wd-40 to protect.
