Actually, you don't have to put them in a box. Just wrap them in cardboard first (like a sandwich) then wrap in paper. Each will be pretty flat and they won't know what they're getting..

I gather you mean the shorter hand tools and not the ones with really long poles? I would put them in the bottom of a grocery sack and wrap the paper around the tools. Then I would put that inside a Christmas gift bag and stuff tissue paper around and on top of the gift.

Chances are its going to be tough for you to find a box that fits them perfectly. I would put a big red bow on each of them. Maybe even wrap the ribbon up along the handle like a candy cane.

Put them in their box and wrap that.

Wrapping them with no box would be pointless 'cause the points would rip through the paper.

U-Haul-type moving companies or home stores have various size boxes for sale. I'm thinking of tall table lamp boxes. Measure the height, width and depth of your tools, then go on-line. Their sites will have h/w/d dimensions for their boxes. Leave room for extra padding and such.

Merry Christmas :-)
