I just saw an answer that suggested all of the American Liberals go to Canada (since they seem to brag about how great Canada is) and the Canadian Conservatives come down to the US. Why not, sounds like a great idea!

Let me see. About 150 million USA citizens move north into Canada, and 14 million Canadians move South. Vancouver would be the new Hollywood. We new Canadians would control your oil, since Canada is the largest supplier to the US.
What would you have? Rich neo-cons, who would have to fill the ranks and pay for the military. Overly religious persons that would force prayer in the schools, at work, on t.v. Rednecks living in trailers. Oh yeah, and 15 million illegal aliens living in the US. They would now be almost 10% of you new nation. And with all those jobs to fill, you can expect a quick 15 million more. I think it is an idea that its time has come. By the way, you would also lose most of the college educated persons. Good luck.

Most educated people do not define themselves based solely on which randomly drawn national borders they live inside of. Some people like to, you know, be worldly and learn about and appreciate other cultures and live in various places and meet different people during their lives.
People need to get over their delusions that all parts of the United States are the best, most wonderful, most perfect places to live in the whole world ever no matter what.

I love the idea! Didn't Alec Baldwin threaten to leave the USA if Bush won the presidency? It's a shame he didn't move! I really believe that many libs would be much happier in Canada with their socialist govt and health care system, and gay marriage. I would welcom the Canadian conservative with open arms. We need more people who are willing to fight for their country against our radical Islamic enemies.

I was thinking we could send the libs to Iran to pester the mullahs and complain about how their rights are being violated, while the rest of us.. conservative, moderate, and those with any common sense can inhabit the US.... like we have done long before libs decided to start whining, smoking dope, preaching about peace and utopia, and kneeling at the alter of the church of Global Warming. As for Canada...Its a nice place to visit... just wouldnt want to live there.

Think I saw the answer you speak off too, but they were talking about all the United Statesian Liberals not all American Liberals. Can you imagine... America has over 950 million people, of them at least half are liberals that would mean that Canada would have almost 500 million people.
Don't confuse Americans with United Statesians. United Statesians are less than 280 million less than 30% of Americans.

I was born here,I'm not willing to abandon The US. Part of my family was here before the Europeans,the other part of my family came here and helped conquer them and help build this country. I have had family in almost every war ever fought in or by The US.
