So much for doing things nature friendly. Let the little ingrates go feast else where and mix up a mixture of 1/4 cup dishwashing detergent and a gallon of water and spray this on your bushes, another recipe is, 1 TBS dish soap, 1 cup vegetable oil mix, then add just 2 TBS per gallon of water, for a anti aphid spray.
If you want to stay more organic, puree 3 jalape`no peppers ,3 cloves of garlic and 1 quart of water strain and use as a spray, Or if you really want to get back at the aphids, blend 1/2 cup of aphid bodies with 2 cups of warm water and use as a spray, if you don't want to touch the bugs just take some heavily infested leaves aphids and all and blend them up good in 2 or 3 cups of water, strain and spray....Wood ashes are also good natural anti aphids, they are especially good for low lying plants, use a shaker like a cheese shaker, leave the ashes on for a day and rinse off the plants with the hose.. Good luck ; )

Either wet the plants down before you place them or wet them down while they are there with a mist maker. The water keeps them on the plants where they will do the most good and then they will come back season after season. Like salmon spawning.
As for the ungrateful ones, send them to the SouthPole with all the ungrateful elves, hippos and bad reindeer!

aphids taste better after dining on the greener grass and prettier roses on the "other side" of the fence.

I guess you don't have enough aphids. I've heard that you should release them in the cool of the evening.

Are your aphids UGLY? LOL
Seriously ,honey I have not a clue. I find ladybugs are, however, ungrateful...whenever I try to help one turn over when they have upsided they NEVER say Thank You!
