My mom and I used to rent that movie when I was very young...I loved it back then... I don't ever see it anywhere...(i haven't looked online...not THAT big of a deal...I'm sure it is stupid now) but anyway....None of my friends remember it, or ever saw it. Just curious!!!!

I think it is from the 80's, but it was great. But I don't recall it being a big big hit so that is probably why your friends don't remember it! It's from 1982 and really didn't have and "super celebrities" in it

i love this movie! i ordered it through a video rental store a few years ago.it is a sweet movie i laugh and cry when i watch it!!!
i have a DVD it is out by pacific family entertainment.mark miller was the producer and starred in the movie as Alvie , i loved him !Bridgette Anderson played Savannah and is adorable.you can either order like that or go to a store that sells DVDs and have them order it for you .it is a classic!!!
