when should can a girl get a bra?

I believe a girl should get a bra when they feel committed to wear it and I personally I got my frist bra when I was 9. And a little addvise if you don't want to ask your mom then write a note the says mom can i get a bra? and put it on her bed! GOOD LUCK!!!

i got my 1st bra at 9 2!
i think they should get it when they r ready, unless they really need 1! but moms should not push their daughters in2 it when they r flat and do not need it.
also i say that even if u do not need 1 in 6th grade many irls want them because it makes them feel better. i think that if the girl wants it and does not really need it u should say ok

I think I was 9 or 10 when I got my first bra. I was shopping with my mom and asked her if she'd buy me one. I think she was surprised that I wanted one because I was kind of a tomboy at the time, but she bought it for me.

I think a girl should have a bra when she wants one. It's not an issue of needing support (I didn't until I was probably 13), it's about the girl making the transition from a little girl to a young lady and I think it should happen when she's ready.

When they need it. I find it ridiculous when 2nd graders with no chest think they need one. A bra is for someone who needs it, not for someone who wants it.
