This most famous of all love scenes shows Romeo at first lusting after the young girl he has just met at the masked ball where he has gone in disguise (because his family is feuding with hers); but she manages eventually to steer his thoughts toward marriage.

Here is the complete sentence from the play:

If that thy bent of love be honorable,
Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow,
By one that I'll procure to come to thee,
Where and what time thou wilt perform the rite;
And all my fortunes at thy foot I'll lay
And follow thee my lord throughout the world.

Translation: If you seriously mean you love me, if your purpose is to take me as your wife in marriage, let me know tomorrow by the messenger I'll send, and let me know where and when we'll be married, and I will give you my future and follow you wherever you go in the world.

Send me a letter or message tomorrow, if you are thinking about marriage and not just an idle fling.

This a joke right? You have to be kidding me...you mean to tell me you don't understand this quote?! Shakespeare is not the easiest text to always understand but this quote is a plain as the nose on your face. You need to take time to really read it.
