the human brain at birth is likened to a sponge ready to absorb knowledge. by the sixth or eighth year the learning process peaks and begins a gradual decline. you are never too old to learn but your capacity decreases.

so far my brightest age was 13, i had to take care of my mom and my brother, and kinda watch my mom slowly kill herself. luckily she lived though, but i also had to make sure i got to the bus stop every morning.. waking up at 5:30, taking care of everyone, then walking a mile and a half.. not fun.. i think my brightest age over all will be about 70.

You're brightest the day you enroll in public school. Every day in school after that dumbs you down until you can no longer think.

I was 16 when I went to college. It was in the summer semester and I took 18 credits, all As by the end of the semester. After that year I went down gradually due to smoking and drinking excessively.

I feel that my mind has gotten sharper every year, so I'd say at my current age. Of course if you ask my two teens they'd say I am the dumbest person on the planet :)

Some age younger than me, that's for sure. I am a pretty dim bulb these days. Just ask my wife; I can't remember anything!

Think about this:
You are the smartest you ever were.
Every single day you're smarter than the day, hour, and even minute ago. I'll be the smartest the minute I die.
Isn't this just so cool to think about?
