I know how you feel ... Vista can be a challenge ... but stick with it ..the more you become familiar with it the easier it will be ... you should just stick your memory card in the slot then (if it doesn't Auto Run) go to My Computer and click on the removable drive icon ... then it's just "copy and paste" ... Good Luck :)

hi, If the computing gadget got here with Vista Pre-put in on it, then it maximum probable is an aftermarket version. in many cases, manufacturers burn a partition for restoration purposes if so, in the different case they supply restoration disks. in case you do not have a restoration partition on the computing gadget you need to telephone the producer and request they deliver you the OEM disks. even inspite of the undeniable fact that, touch Microsoft at as quickly as, who can provide disks so lopng as you may provide evidence you very own the working gadget; in many cases a digital photograph of the licence sticker is seen sufficient evidence. the only incorrect way around this could be to locate somebody with the superb comparable computing gadget who has their disk. you need to then use this disk, deploy Vista, and whilst brought about type interior the Licence Key you wrote down extremely than the between the borrowed disk. When you plug in the SD card in the slot, it will either open up a dialog box and ask you want you want to do with several options, open with Image Editors.
If nothing prompts, go to my computer, you should see one of the drives such as E, F, G, .... and SD will be one of them and you can double click open it and see all the images and copy them where ever you want, shoot me an email if you need more help

Hi - make sure of the following :
1. Your camera's software is installed in your laptop
2. Your camera (with SD card) is plugged to laptop via usb and ready to be synchronized (should allow photos to be downloaded from camera --> laptop)
Hope this helps.

Good luck with Vista! My fiance works in the electronics department at a store and alot of things don't work with Vista. I'd go back to what you had before, honestly.

Vista is horrible. Get a Mac. The learning curve wins over how bad Vista is.
