what is it with these high level guys?

they don't want email. don't want contacts. who are these people. i think they are pog (left to right) trolls and they have made all those points reporting us. what do you think?

quite a few don't allow email. so you can't ask them to join your contacts or anything. i think that is isn't playing fair not to be able to contact them at all.

It's worse than that. I made it up to level 6. That makes you more of a target for trolls. I thought just blocking known or suspected reportitrolls was enough--it wasn't. But, with any luck, I'll be level 3 again by wednesday.

As people accumulate more words here, there's a tendency to become more paranoid about protecting them. So folks block off every avenue by which the trolls can get at them.

Unfortunately, when you do that, the trolls win. They WANT legitimate users to isolate themselves from each other and not be able to access what others have written. And, with the full backing of Y!A staff, they've been very successful in achieving this.

Higher lvl users? My Q&A's have been private since a few days after I reached level 7 to protect myself from trolls. I allow e-mails, and I allow fans, but I go on my fans' profiles to make sure they're not like Rico or $mitty (a few months ago...) Most higher lvl users are fearful of trolls. And you don't get points for reporting people! Level 6's and 7's are usually the victims!

I think you are talking about bribery. Is that it. Instead of hiring these trolls and paying minimum wage, they are giving them points instead?
