Hello i am trying to connect my desktop computer to my HDTV. i have all the connection in the right place, i just need to know what buttons i need to hit on the keyboard to display the desktop screen on my HDTV. I know how to do it with a laptop but not with a Desktop computer keyboard so please help

Typically Function and F7 or F5. Check the F keys. The one with two rectangles is usually the right key. Pressing the right keys will actually cycle you to 3 settings: laptop screen only, external display only and both displays working at the same time.

generally varies, F7 or F12, look at the keyboard , sometimes even F2 or F3 depends on the manufacturs and video card drivers.
