Forgive me if I happen to think a civilisation that couldn't predict the end of it's own world might just not have managed to work out when the end of everyone else's.
Ancient therefore more adept and prediction? Unlikely.
I won't be too slow in booking holidays in 2013.

I;VE BEEN HEARING ABOUT THE WORLD ENDING NOW FOR THE PAST 40 YRS.THE YEAR 2000 WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THE YEAR IT HAPPENED.YET THE WORLD IS STILL HERE.IF JESUS DID;NT KNOW WHEN THE END WAS GOING TO COME.THEN HOW CAN ANY HUMAN BEING KNOW WHEN ITS GOING TO HAPPEN.NO ONE KNOWS AND EVEN IF IT DOES YOU CAN;T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT ANYWAY.AND THERE ARE;NT ANY LIVING BEINGS OUT THERE WHO ARE GOING TO SAVE US EITHER.MAN WILL DOOM HIMSELF IF WE DON;T CHANGE WHAT WE ARE DOING TO THE WORLD.LIKE POLLUTING THE WATER AND AIR WE BREATH.AND KILLING OFF ALL THE ANIMALS.MAN WILL BE THE FINAL KILL.IF WE DON;T BLOW OUR SELFS OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH FIRST.AND I DON;T LOOK FOR THAT TO HAPPEN.BUT COMES 2012 YOU;LL STILL BE HERE AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE.AND THE EARTH WILL STILL BE HERE AS WELL.

It must be difficult to live green to help save the planet if its all going to end in 2012. I wonder if there are any live green people who also believe in the prophecy?
