Monday, now the work's begun
Lots to do and nothing done.
The week ahead seems very long
And I don't think I'm all that strong,
But I'll get through it, this I know
one day down, 6 more to go.

Tuesday's here, and I can see
My favourite programme's on TV.
Get through the day, it goes quite quick
And get on home, that does the trick
Relax and lose myself, or try
In watching Star Trek on Sci-Fi.

Wednesday's come, the mid-week star
The weekend isn't all that far.
I like this day, it gives me hope
I feel I'm on the downward slope.
The only trouble is, I find
Homework's taking up my mind.

Thursday, now the end's in view
I feel that there is less to do.
It's not the case, The work's still there
Waiting, like a hungry bear
To gobble up my hours of rest
Put resolution to the test.

Friday, that's the day for me
The weekend's next, so I can see
I'll meet my mates this Friday night
We'll hit the town, oh what a sight.!
And when I stagger home at one
I won't recall what I have done.

Saturday is starting slow
Up at noon, and that's a blow
I'm s'posed to meet my girl at three
for shopping and a cup of tea.
My head it aches, I'll take a pill
and hope it stops me feling ill.

Sunday now my day of rest
I like this day above the rest.
No pressure on my time at all
I think I'll give my mates a call.
I'll try to make the hours last
But still they're going far too fast
Before too long it wil be when
Monday's come around again.

OK. Hope this helps. I tend to write in rhyming couplets, so I hope it's smewhere near what you were looking for.

Sure, why not. I'm secure enough that I don't care if you pirate anything. I've even RE-named the days.

Monday... "Mundane" day, slow and sedate

Tuesday... "TUNESday", all Music and great.

Wednesday..."WHENday" In the middle, it seems, thinking past and future dreams.

Thursday........."Thirsty" Kind of HumDrum, Thinking TUNESday suddenly I begin to Hum.

Friday..............."FRYday" is about Fish & Chips, and scanning through very old Movie Clips.

Saturday............"Satireday" No day filled with rest, but still it seems better than the best of the rest.

Sunday.............."SUN"day....Just as it sounds, getting out in the rays, and turning light brown.

All In The Week!

Sunday is God's day and filled with grace
On Sunday's like God, give praise, thanks, and rest!

Monday, the work week begins anew, and how
Endless are the chores we all must do...

Tuesday, a seldom famous day, and it is second
Only to Day One, of God again, give thanks, be done.

Wednesday, my favorite of the week, we are half way
Through the toils of the week, turning happily to week's end.

Thursday, as did the disciples, prepare a table for our Lord,
Let your supper be the first one, as we celebrate and adore.

Friday the week is through, and all the hardwork is done, now
Turn to your family and give quality time all weekend long.

Saturday, though hectic it might be, as we squeeze in
Everything that needs to be done so efficiently, Relax!

Original and my Christmas present to you and your grandma, please rate my poem and if you like email me and I'll send it to you as an attachment worthy of print.

Happy Holidays!!!

Sunday
I love you like ice cream, with a cherry on top.

Monday.
You're not the most fun day.
But, not bad, what can I say?

Tuesday.
You wear rubies.

Wednesday
is this derived of "When day"?

Thursday.
After monday, you're the third day.

Friday
You end the weekdays, as you go by me.

Saturday
you're cool.

Not only that, but I could get you an A ... Of course you don't have enough money to make me do your homework.

So you want a heartfelt, sentimental poem to include in a book to your grandmother, and you want someone else to write it?
